Honeydew is the newest and most talked-about honey variety in New Zealand. Unlike traditional honey, it's made when bees gather sweet secretions from native scale insects on beech trees. This unique process creates a deep, silky honey with lower glucose and higher antioxidant levels than even Manuka, as well as fascinating links to improved gut health. Our honeydew doesn’t crystallize, making it perfect for drizzling and stirring. Found within the vast native Beechwood forest throughout the South Island’s Southern Alps.
